We contributed to the exercise of collective rights of Indigenous Peoples in relation to natural resources in Guatemala and Nicaragua
ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT:
- Legal and political analysis on the Framework Law on Climate Change and the rights of Indigenous Peoples in adaptation
- Proposal on the interrelation and implementation of the Climate Change Policy and Framework Law in relation to Indigenous Peoples
- Capacity building processes for analysis and advocacy for the benefit of Indigenous Peoples as vulnerable populations in the face of climate change
- Case study as a model of a community adaptation plan for a vulnerable area in Guatemala
- Application of the Joint Principles for Adaptation regarding the implementation of the Framework Law on Climate Change
