Actions were developed to contribute to the conservation of native biodiversity and ecological systems in the municipality of San Bartolomé Milpas Altas, for the benefit of the community and through sustainable management of natural resources.

ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT:

• Conservation of biodiversity and ecological systems in the municipality of San Bartolomé Milpas Altas
• Development of workshops on the importance of ecosystem conservation and orchid reproduction
• Research on orchid diversity
• Implementation of an orchid marketing strategy
• Establishment of a community forest orchard
• Reforestations
• Promotion of orchids in vitro
• Provision to community members of in vitro orchids and substrates for their cultivation
• Environmental education processes
• Coordination and advice to the Municipality and safeguarding of resources on environmental legislation
