Processes were carried out to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity and ecological systems in the municipality of San Bartolomé Milpas Altas, for the direct benefit of the community, and based on the sustainable management of natural resources

ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT:

• Conservation of biodiversity and ecological systems in the municipality of San Bartolomé Milpas Altas
• Workshops on the importance of ecosystem conservation, as well as on orchid reproduction and management
• Talks in local schools on environmental issues
• Research on orchid diversity in San Bartolomé Milpas Altas
• Design and initial implementation of an orchid marketing strategy
• Establishment of a community orchid with ornamental potential
• Delivery to community members of orchids produced in vitro, as well as materials for their cultivation
